At Château Lastours the de Faramond family produce good quality well made wines from their riverside Château in Gaillac. Most of the 40 ha of his property is under vine on the valley floor of the river Tarn. The majority of the property is on gravelly soil and he has used this to his advantage making medium-bodied wines of character.
