Producer Information

Founded by Pol Roger in Ay in 1831 the company is still run by the descendents of M Roger in Epernay where their cellars run for 7 kilometres deep under the town. The company owns 87 hectares of its own vineyards and has contracts with a similar amount, the total producing on average 1.5 million bottles annually. A consistent favourite over the years with Royalty and governments, Pol Roger was a firm favourite of Winston Churchill after whom their most famous Cuvee was named in 1984.
