The family owned Viña San Esteban vineyards and winery are located in the La Florida and Paidahuen vineyards, in the town
of San Esteban in the Aconcagua Valley in central Chile. Founded in 1974 by José Vicente, Viña San Esteban follows The Sustainability Code, a voluntary certification, aimed at incorporating sustainable Wine farming practices, protecting workers, customers, the community and the environment. With a vast knowledge of both vineyards and winemaking, Horacio Vicente studied Oenology at the University of Bordeaux and worked in France at Château Mouton Rothschild & Mouton Cadet and in the United States at Chalone Vineyards, one of the first boutique
vineyards in California. He has a ’one foot in France’ in his winemaking style.
